The most superior professional materials and methods available are employed in the printing of Michael Bates images. You can expect an archival life for your print in excess of 75 years. Images on canvas are printed on giclee premium canvas, and are sprayed with a UV protective coating. It is still recommended that you do not display your image in direct sunlight. You may gently clean your canvas, if necessary, using a clean, damp cloth. Open edition prints are available in 10, 20 and 30 inches, and are printed on lustre paper and matboarded as standard. Other papers are available on request, these are detailed below. Limited edition prints are available in 40, 50 and 60 inches, and are printed on lustre paper. Michael Bates limited edition prints are restricted to 100 prints. This means when 100 prints of a particular image, in any size or media type are sold, no more are available. The only way to acquire a 'sold out' image is to buy it off an existing owner. This turns your purchase into an investment! The value of your print increases as demand increases. A certificate of authenticity is provided with each image. Alternative options for printing are also available, these include: Metallic, Canvas and Fine Art papers.
